Tonja Tilene Davis, 46, of Mansfield, Ohio, passed away at her home on Sunday, May 3, 2020. She was born in Mansfield on November 14, 1973 to Garland and Patricia (McManis) Thompson.
Tonja was a hardworking, strong and honest woman who never judged and had great understanding. She had a big heart for others, putting their needs above her own. Loving people, Tonja did what she could to put a smile on their faces and uplift them in spirit. She would drop everything she was doing no matter the need or time of day just to show support, especially to her daughter, Lydia, during her battle with cancer. Tonja was known to be a leader, not a follower, but was a woman of faith, making God her number one priority, living to serve him. She enjoyed music and sports and liked to keep her house looking immaculate.
Tonja is survived by her parents; children, Lydia Davis and Zachariah Davis; grandson, Connor Davis; siblings, Garlena (Thomas) Lenahan, Joseph (Kimberly) Thompson and Rachel Thompson; significant other, Luke Lance; cousin, Aaron McManis; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; and aunts and uncles, Bill (Naomi) Knox, Margie, Angel (James) and Nancy Thompson, Cora (Larry) Fletcher, Carl (Marilyn), Donnie (Ruth), Ronnie (Brenda), Roy, Arnold (Nancy), John (Chris) and Tony Thompson.
She is preceded in death by Dorothy Cleveland, whom was very special to her; uncle, Bill McManis; and grandparents, Lillie (William) McManis and John (Mary) Thompson.
Private services will be held for the family. A celebration of life will be held a later date. The Wappner Cremation Center is honored to have served the family.
