Helen Emma Emmaline Flint, 77, of Ashland, passed away at University Hospital of Ashland on February 9, 2020. Helen was born on September 25, 1942 in Pennsylvania.
Loving her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was what Helen did best, and being the neighborhood “Mamaw”. Her family was very important to her, and shared many fond memories with one being the love of watching family feud with her daughter, Joyce. She loved listening to the rain, and on a sunny day you could find Helen sitting under the tree watching birds. Helen has a strong faith, which helped her get though trials in life. When Helen was younger she loved going to Bingo, and now to pass her time she played candy crush on her cell phone, visiting yard sales and push mowing her grass.
Helen is survived by her brother, Jessie James Booher; brother-in-law, Fred Flint; her dearest friend, Myron Flint; her children, Mark Flint, Terry Flint (Anna Burroughs), Joyce (Johnny) Teel, Kayla Flint, Toni Flint, and Rick Dennison; the daughters she raised, Jennifer Gallo, Amber Gallo, Ashley Gallo, Marissa Gallo, and Dorothy “Dottie” Gallo; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
