Faye Lucille “Vi” Wilson, 94, of Mansfield, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at her residence. Born March 20, 1925 in Gray, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Clarence and Rebbecca Jane (Nedrow) Weyant.
Faye worked on the fuel tank bladders during World War II at Mansfield Tire and was a beautician at Faye’s Kut and Kurl until moving to New Mexico in 1977 where she worked for a school until she moved back to Mansfield in 1992. She also owned her own arts and craft shop as she was big into painting and knitting. She loved reading especially westerns and mysteries and had a big heart for animals. Faye also loved to ride motorcycles with her late husband, Chad, exploring the mountains. Although she had a stubborn side, Faye was always willing to help others in their time of need.
She is survived by two sons, Steven (Denise) Snavely and Mark Snavely; her granddaughters, Nicole, Angelique and Katherine; her grandson, Matthew; many great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Terry and Delores Dyson; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Trent Snavely; her second husband, Chad Wilson; a son, Michael Snavely; and a brother, Jerry Weyant.
There will be no services at this time. Wappner Cremation Center is honored to serve the family of Faye Wilson.
