Emory L. “Toby” Flowers, 72, of Galion, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2019 at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. Born December 10, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia, he was the son of Emery Calvin and Norma Gene (Eary) Flowers.
Toby was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He retired from the United States Postal Service following 25 years of service and was a member of the AmVets. Toby enjoyed working on old cars and was a CB radio enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife Shayvon “Shug” Roberson Flowers; his daughter, Joyce LaPene and Becky (Brian) Miller; his grandchildren, Kevin, Coby, Jessica, Amber and Koda; three great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Walter (Tina) Flowers, Bob “Kraut” Flowers, Jim (Karen) Flowers, Norma “Sissy” (Dave) Bohner and Brenda Maran; many nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Terry and many loving pets.
There will be no services at this time.
