Cheryl Lynn Brown, 58, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. Born November 18, 1961 in Ashland, Ohio, she was the daughter of Robert Ross and Bonnie Jean Rickel.
Cheryl will always be remembered for her kind and loving spirit as well as her eternal and unconditional passion to help others. Her spirit and memory will continue on as an “Eternal Flame”, the favorite song shared by her and her daughters.
Cheryl graduated from Ashland High School where she was a proud member of the Sweet 16’s. She went on to complete college to become a Registered Nurse and started her passion of helping others, especially the elderly, for many years to follow. Her journey also led to her managing the Blackfork Inn Bed & Breakfast in Loudonville, Ohio along with her husband Todd where they shared and made many fond memories with their guests.
She is survived by her husband, Todd Brown, to whom she entered into a joyful and loving marriage on May 29, 2011 and their precious cavachon, Lexi of Ashland; her children, Stephanie (James) Phillips of Lexington, Ohio and Kayley (Thomas) Boettner of Roanoke, Virginia; her grandchildren, Taylor and JJ Phillips; her mother, Bonnie Jean Rickel of Bellville, Ohio; and her brothers, Jeffery (Bonnie) Rickel of Lexington, Ohio and David (Sandy) Rickel of Jacksonville, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Ross Rickel and her brother, Robert Ross Rickel II.
“And though she be but little, she is fierce”.
